This policy explains how Bear With Me collects and uses your personal information on this website. We only collect your email address, and only for our waitlist: to tell you when Bear With Me launches. We never collect health information through this website, and we never sell your data.

Bear With Me (“we”, “us”) is based in London, United Kingdom. We are the “controller” of your personal information, which means we decide how it’s used and we’re responsible for looking after it.

What we collect and why
Your email address, when you join the waitlist. We use it only to run our waitlist: to tell you when Bear With Me launches and how to get early access. We won’t use it for anything else, add you to other marketing, or pass it on. Our legal reason is your consent. You can withdraw it any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email, or by emailing us.
Basic website usage (pages visited, rough location, device type), collected by our website host. We use it to see how the site is used and keep it working. Our legal reason is our legitimate interest in running a working website.
Anything you choose to send us by email. We use it to reply to you. Our legal reason is our legitimate interest in answering you.
We don’t ask for, and don’t want, any health information through this website.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information or share it for advertising. We use one service to run the website and the waitlist:
Squarespace hosts this website, stores the waitlist and sends our emails. Squarespace may store data on servers outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are protected by legal safeguards such as approved contract terms. You can read Squarespace’s privacy policy at squarespace.com/privacy.
We would only share your information with anyone else if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If Bear With Me doesn’t launch, we’ll delete the waitlist within 12 months of deciding not to go ahead. Emails you send us are kept only as long as we need to reply and follow up.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
give you a copy of the information we hold about you
correct it if it’s wrong
delete it
stop or limit how we use it
give it to you in a format you can take elsewhere
You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Email joy@bearwithmeendo.com and we’ll reply within one month. It’s free.

Our website host uses cookies to keep the site working and to count visits. Essential cookies are always on. You can accept or decline the others using the cookie banner when you first visit, and change your mind any time in your browser settings.
Children
This website and the waitlist are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
When Bear With Me launches, the app will have its own, fuller privacy policy, because it will handle health information with extra care. We’ll update this page when anything changes, and the date at the top shows when it was last updated.
